Membership

Membership is open to all professionals interested in the field of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia. There are two types of membership in EACTA: Full members are Anaesthesiologists, including those in training. All other applicants will be considered as Associate Members. EACTA welcome perfusionists as Associate members at a special rate.

Benefits of Membership are:

All members receive Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia (JCVA) (normal subscribtion rate 300$ per year).
Reduced registration fee at the annual meeting. (min. 100 Euro)
Reduced registration fee at the annual echo course (min. 100 Euro)
Application for Clinical Fellowships and Research Grants are available as appropriate.
Possible reduced registration fees at other international meetings.

Please notice that only Anaesthesiologists can seek full membership

Full Member gross monthly income below 2000 €	60 €	150 €
Full Member gross monthly income exceeding 2000 €	100 €	250 €
Associate Member - Perfusionist	60 €	150 €
Associate Member	100 €	250 €
Paper version of JCVA	20 €	50 €

From January 2010 the standard EACTA member subscription is electronic access only. New members as well as members renewing during the year will be granted access as soon as possible after registration. The normal JCVA delivery time is February, April, June, August, October and December and the updated membership list is sent to the journal 2-3 weeks before the release, so please expect 1-2 month for access to the journal.

For members who would like delivery of the paper version this is possible for a slightly increased membership fee. The extra fee for the JCVA paper version is 20 Euro one year memberships and 50 Euro 3 years membership. Please expect 2-3 month for delivery of first issue.
